About Us

Complementary Youth Work & Community Support Services

Youth Unlimited has been delivering professional youth and community services since 2014. Our Youth Workers are very passionate about Youth Work and positively engage with all young people. They provide opportunities, support, guidance and fun experiences! It is these experiences that enhance the wellbeing of the young people, helping them to make informed decisions on the issues effecting them.

Group Work & Issue Based Programmes

We offer informal safe personal development programmes, designed to meet the needs of the group, addressing shared concerns such as self esteem, bullying, sexuality, relationships, self-image, drugs & alcohol. We encourage the group to explore other issues. We recommend a minimum of seven sessions for up to eight students.

Issue Based Programmes are developed according to need. From a two hour PSHE session or a three day intensive developmental programme such as the Understanding Anger programme.

Class & Group Delivery

We provide issue based sessions to school classrooms or other groups. Sessions are delivered, as required, on a range of concerns:

  • Sexual health and relationships
  • Emotional health and wellbeing
  • Stress management
  • Self-esteem
  • Resilience

Or we can design and deliver bespoke programmes to meet the requirements of your class and/or group.

Case study: we delivered Drugs & Alcohol Awareness sessions to 4 x classes of year 10 students covering the risks of “legal highs”, the law, myths and consequences of drug and alcohol use.

One to One work

It’s recognised that young people greatly value supportive relationships with professional youth workers. Our youth workers work effectively and sensitively with the young person and the referring agency. Our role can be pastoral, advocate, mentor, coach, for general support or to engage with a student to address a specific issue. We can also refer to other specialist agencies, if required.

Project Development and Support

If you are a group or organisation looking to develop a new or existing youth project, Youth UnLimited staff are experienced in supporting the development of projects locally and throughout the south west. We can assist with all aspects of establishing and running a project including; community consultations, recruitment and training of volunteers and staff, insurance, safeguarding, health and safety, policies, constitutions, positive outcomes, governance and funding.

If you wish to discuss any of the options listed or would like to explore other ways in which we could help, please feel free to contact us. Our knowledge and experience ensures we offer the most comprehensive advice.

We are always happy to discuss a range of professional youth work interventions to effectively meet your needs either over the phone, via email or in person.
